We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead commercial strategies across the business. This role offers the scope of a multinational corporation combined with the agility and accessibility of a family-owned business. You will be joining a transparent, social team with high staff retention and a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
What You Will Do
- Strategic Sales & Growth
- Developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies to increase revenue and market share within the Organised Retail & Discounters channels.
- Identifying target markets, setting sales goals, and determining the approaches needed to achieve them.
- Managing a substantial revenue budget across several key accounts, with a designated focus on securing new business development and product listings.
- Forecasting sales projections, analysing market trends, and monitoring performance metrics for strategic decision-making.
- Customer & Territory Management
- Prospecting and acquiring new convenience stores and wholesale clients while retaining and maximising the lifetime value of existing customers.
- Effectively managing sales territories to optimise coverage within the convenience and wholesale sectors, prioritising accounts to maximise opportunities.
- Conducting regular field activity and store visits, gathering market intelligence, and monitoring competitor activities.
- Setting competitive pricing strategies and negotiating terms to secure profitable deals.
- Product Promotion & Collaboration
- Demonstrating in-depth knowledge of a diverse portfolio and developing promotional activities to drive sales and brand awareness.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, operations, product management, and logistics to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
What We Are Looking For
- Significant professional experience, including previous experience in a position with similar characteristics.
- Proven experience in negotiation, contracts, and the large consumer sector (mass distribution).
- A strong analytical capacity and a highly commercial profile.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven capacity for teamwork.
- Leadership skills and strategic vision, with the ability to assume long-term commercial management responsibilities.
- Availability to travel frequently and maintain a regular office presence.
