Full-Time Teaching Assistant (Driving License Required)

Looking for a stable, full-time classroom role across West Sussex or Surrey? We are seeking a reliable, adaptable Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term placement supporting schools across West Sussex and Surrey. Responsibilities:
- Working full-time hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM) alongside classroom teachers.
- Leading small group intervention sessions in core literacy, phonics, and numeracy.
- Providing dedicated 1:1 learning and behavioural support for pupils with SEN (including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH).
- Fostering an inclusive, encouraging, and safe classroom environment.
- Assisting with classroom setup, learning displays, and break-time supervision.
Qualifications:
- Driving Licence & Car: Valid UK Driving Licence and access to a reliable vehicle (Essential).
- Availability: Full-time availability (Monday to Friday, standard school hours).
- Experience: Prior experience supporting children or young people (in schools, nurseries, sports coaching, care, or youth work).
- Skills: Strong communication skills and confident foundational English and Maths.
- Compliance: Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one) and valid Right to Work in the UK.
What We Offer:
- Long-Term Consistency: Enjoy full-time Monday-to-Friday schedules and ongoing placement stability.
- Competitive Pay: Earn £85.00 - £105.00 per day, paid weekly via PAYE with no hidden umbrella fees.
- Term-Time Balance: Work fixed school hours while enjoying all standard school holidays.
- Free Professional Development: Access accredited CPD training, including Safeguarding, Autism Awareness, and Behaviour Management.
