Responsibilities:
Lead the Room: Oversee classes across Key Stage 3 and 4 in the absence of the regular teacher.
Guide Learning: Deliver pre-set work, answer pupil questions, and ensure students stay focused on their tasks.
Set the Vibe: Maintain positive classroom behavior using clear boundaries, encouragement, and calm authority.
End-of-Day Transition: Hand back completed work and submit brief, essential attendance notes before clocking out.
Qualifications:
Presence: Ability to command a room with enthusiasm and professional maturity.
Versatility: Backgrounds in education, youth work, sports coaching, or performing arts are highly valued.
Reliability: Standard availability during school hours (8:30 AM - 3:30 PM).
Vetting: Must hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
