The Role

Are you a high-energy multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Randstad Education Liverpool is looking for a Candidate Consultant to join our powerhouse team of eight. Your mission is simple but vital: Find the best talent to fuel our growth. You will be the engine room of the office, building deep talent pools of Teachers, TAs, and SEN specialists to ensure we never miss a beat or a booking. This role focuses on opportunities in day-to-day and long-term placements by ensuring the right candidates are ready to go when our clients call.

Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Pool Growth: Proactively sourcing and headhunting high-quality candidates across Primary and Nursery sectors.
  • Fulfilment: Bridging the gap between consultant sales activity and candidate availability to minimise "lost" bookings.
  • High-Volume Management: Navigating a busy, high-turnover environment with speed and accuracy.
  • Engagement: Acting as the first point of contact for educators, building trust and maintaining a "ready-to-work" pipeline.
  • KPI Driven: Meeting targets around candidate registrations, compliance, and placement rates.

What We’re Looking For

  • Background: Ideally, you come from a recruitment background or have experience in Education/Care.
  • Skillset: You are a master of multitasking. With 6 consultants to support, you need to be organised and resilient.
  • Market Knowledge: A solid understanding of the education sector (Teachers, TAs, SEN) is a massive plus.
  • Personality: We want someone engaging! You’re the face of our candidate experience.
