Salary: AG6 - £44,039 + (£4,875 salary supplement p.a.)
We are partnering with the Northern Ireland Assembly to appoint Senior Business Analysts for a high-impact, fixed-term strategic project. This role offers the opportunity to drive digital transformation initiatives, solve complex business challenges and contribute directly to the efficiency and modernisation of a key public sector institution.

What we need from you:
- Immediate availability until at least 31st December 2026
- Full flexibility to working in the office or at home
- Willingness to complete a Basic Assess NI check
Essential Qualifications:
- Level 6 or above qualification - a minimum 2:2 classification in primary degree or post-graduate qualification, in computing or an information management related discipline (a minimum 50% course content) plus 3 years experience in a similar role and possess up to date PRINCE2 or PMI Agile Practitioner certification (or willingness to obtain with 6 months)
- OR Level 3 (A-Level) or above qualification - a minimum of 3 Grade C or above plus 5 years experience in a similar role and possess up to date PRINCE2 or PMI Agile Practitioner certification (or willingness to obtain with 6 months)
Experience Required:
- Managing or assisting in the management of complex information technology projects delivered using a formalised project management approach (projects involving a budget of over £200K and business change for 200 plus users are considered complex in this case)
- Leading, or contributing to, the implementation of change programmes that impact across different key business areas within an organisation
- Anticipating and analysing problems to produce options and recommendations to senior staff and/or decision makers
- Have an understanding of basic finance and HR processes, to support the organisation replace core applications
Responsibilities:
- Project Delivery - Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex ICT projects, ensuring project milestones are met through effective supplier and stakeholder management.
- Strategic Analysis - Drive business value by identifying development opportunities, performing rigorous analysis, and modelling complex processes to inform key decision-makers.
- Solution Lifecycle - Translate business requirements into actionable user stories and functional specifications; oversee requirements documentation and support system testing cycles.
- Change & Adoption - Facilitate the successful rollout of digital solutions by managing stakeholder feedback, delivering training, and ensuring end-users successfully adopt new technologies.
