Randstad is seeking a qualified Nursery Assistant to collaborate with partnered schools in Lingfield. The ideal candidate will have a true passion for working with young children, excellent communication skills, and a nurturing approach. As a Nursery Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the daily nursery operations and fostering the holistic development of the children in your care.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities to promote children’s learning and development

Ensure a safe, stimulating, and secure environment where children can explore and learn

Support children with personal care tasks, including feeding, toileting, and nap routines
-
Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues through effective communication

Observe and document children’s progress, highlighting achievements and areas for further development

Collaborate with colleagues to create a warm, inclusive, and welcoming nursery environment

Follow all safeguarding, health, and safety policies and procedures
Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent

Valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
