Randstad has an opportunity available for a HR Administrator to join the team at a leading educational institution in Derry/ Londonderry. This is a fantastic chance for a detail-oriented HR professional to support a busy HR department during a period of process improvement. Based in the BT48 area, you will play a vital role in managing attendance and providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the Human Resources function.

Requirements:
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
- Level 3 qualification in Human Resources (OR a Level 4 qualification in any discipline)
- At least 12 months experience working within a Human Resource role
- Computer literacy including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge regarding the use of HR software systems for recording information and creating reports
- Experience using JANE HR and GETGOT systems is desirable
- Current membership of the CIPD is advantageous
- Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting / compliance checks including an Enhanced Access NI check due to the nature of this work, this may include a Barred List check for both Children & Vulnerable Adults (depending on the role)
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support across various HR areas including Recruitment, Employee Relations, Learning and Development and Attendance Management
- Respond to general HR enquiries from line managers and employees within agreed timescales
- Maintain and update HR databases, ensuring data is accurately recorded on systems such as JANE HR and GETGOT
- Extract and collate statistical information for monthly management, staffing and absence reports
- Provide note-taking support for disciplinary and grievance cases and employee relation meetings
- Assist with the collation of Freedom of Information and Subject Access Requests
- Participate in the induction of new staff and support the planning of HR related events
- Ensure full compliance with quality assurance, health and safety and equality policies
