Randstad seeks to recruit a Registered Manager to oversee the daily operations of a Children's Residential Home in the Dromore area. The successful manager will ensure the highest level of care, compassion and safeguarding for all young people whilst effectively managing a team of experienced staff. This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to demonstrate strong leadership skills and a commitment to positively impacting the lives of young people.

Essential Criteria:
- Degree in Social Work
- Must be NISCC registered
- Full UK valid Driving Licence
- Minimum 3 years post social work qualification
- Minimum 5 years' experience working in residential childcare or a closely related social care setting
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a leadership role (managing a team)
Additional Essential Criteria (to be demonstrated at interview):
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed practice, safeguarding and positive behaviour support
- Experience supervising staff and leading teams
- Sound knowledge of regulation, inspection frameworks, risk management and quality assurance
- Ability to build relationships with Trust partners and external professionals
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience as Deputy Manager or Registered Manager in a children's home
- Experience delivering or participating in multidisciplinary planning
- Knowledge of TCI or similar behaviour support frameworks
Responsibilities:
- Provide strong, compassionate, values-based leadership to a skilled staff team
- Ensure the home operates in line with The Children's Homes Regulations (NI) 2005, Minimum Standards for Children's Homes (2023), NISCC Codes of Practice and our organisational policies
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, trauma-informed environment consistent with our ethos and therapeutic model
- Work collaboratively with Social Workers, Trust personnel, families, schools, and our multidisciplinary team (including Clinical Psychology, OT, and therapeutic consultants)
- Lead on placement planning, reflective practice, staff supervision, and quality assurance
- Oversee the home's rota, reporting systems, budget management and regulatory documentation
- Drive continuous improvement and uphold a strong safeguarding culture
- Represent the service at LAC reviews, professional meetings and regional forums
- Ensure all staff uphold our organisational values and positive behaviour support approach, including TCI de-escalation and trauma-informed practice
