If so, Randstad has an excellent opportunity for a Business Administrator to join their client based in Belfast BT3. In this role, you will support a regional distribution site as it transitions to a new systems application process to enhance its operations across Ireland. You will manage the customer interface and have significant opportunities for professional growth as you will join an established and experienced team who are committed to business excellence.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary of Β£26,000 - Β£27,000 per annum
  • 2-year fixed-term contract
  • 35 hours per week, with standard office hours (such as 8am-4pm, 8.30am-4.30pm or 9am-5pm Monday - Friday)

Requirements

  • Effective communication skills with the ability to liaise with multiple depot locations and operational teams including logistics, warehousing, stock control and senior business managers and stakeholders
  • IT proficiency with knowledge of system implementation and data analysis
  • Efficient and effective organisation and time management skills
  • Proven business administration skills developed within a busy office environment, experience within Transport, Logistics, Industrial or Distribution highly desirable
  • High attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end customer interface, which includes processing customer sales orders, issuing order acknowledgements and advising of any changes to requirements
  • Co-ordinate the on-time and in-full fulfilment of customer orders
  • Collaborate closely with operations regarding filling schedules, stock control regarding lead times and customs teams regarding trade tariffs
  • Work alongside operations, quality and transport teams to ensure all documentation is issued correctly, timely and in line with payload capacities
  • Review current business processes to identify areas for improvement in operational planning efficiencies, making the transition to the new system seamless
  • Cohesively work with multiple sites to harness best practice and efficient processes
