Randstad is recruiting a full-time Lecturer in Computer-Aided Design and Computer-Aided Manufacturing Engineering for a South Eastern Regional College.

Requirements
- Level 5 or above Engineering qualification within a relevant discipline
- Minimum 2 years' engineering experience in CAD/CAM: Computer Aided Manufacture (CAM) and CNC
- Experience within programming using MasterCAM and Fanuc controls is desirable
- GCSE English (Grade A-C) or equivalent
- GCSE Maths (Grade A-C) or equivalent
- High competency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Ability to manage dynamic deadlines and prioritise workload accordingly
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Candidates are subject to enhanced vetting checks including an enhanced Access NI with barred list
Responsibilities
- Deliver, promote training and teach on programmes up to Level 5 qualifications
- Liaise with industry professionals to develop courses
- Fulfil the class tutor role with administrative and pastoral responsibilities
- Develop ILT (Information and Learning Technologies) resources
- Review and evaluate quality of provision
- Assist in staff development in specialist areas / Participate in staff training
- Contribute to marketing, recruitment, induction, and other appropriate events
- Co-ordinate programmes of study.
- Participate in subject and school team meetings, inclusive of leading meetings where necessary
- Contribute to educational visits and work-based learning.
- Liaise with employers, Awarding bodies, and other collaboration groups
- Adopt a flexible approach (including evening work) as required
