Overview

Randstad are recruiting for an Events Assistant to join the growing team at Belfast Metropolitan College as part of the careers department. The role is based at the Titanic Quarter campus but work may be split across all campuses.

Requirements

  • EITHER hold a level 4 qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent PLUS a minimum of one years\\\’ relevant recent experience, OR have three years\\\’ relevant recent experience
  • Experience in a careers role would be highly advantageous
  • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent is essential for this role
  • Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting checks including an Access NI check before commencement in role

Responsibilities

  • The post holder will be responsible for providing event management support for the careers department
  • Handle all client queries to ensure that all events run smoothly and in line with event guidelines and procedures
  • Develop strong working relationships with students and external stakeholders to ensue success of events
  • Ensure that all work and output is of the highest quality following all standards
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Design department in relation to the promotion of Careers and Employability events
  • Actively promote through College media e.g. CANVAS, Facebook etc, opportunities for students to access work experience and employability skills development
