Randstad has an opportunity available for a Make-up & Beauty Tutor to join the team at Belfast Metropolitan College. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality instruction and technical training at Hydebank Wood College, delivering innovative programs and assessing work-based qualifications to help learners achieve success within a secure environment.

Requirements:
- Relevant vocational qualification at Level 3 or above in Beauty and Make-up
- Possession of (or intent to progress toward) a recognised assessor qualification
- GCSE Maths and English (Grade AC) or Essential Skills Level 2 equivalent
- Demonstrable experience of training and assessing within the Make-up and Beauty discipline in line with awarding body strategies
- Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting / compliance checks including an Enhanced Access NI check due to the nature of this work, this may include a Barred List check for both Children & Vulnerable Adults (depending on the role).
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality instruction and technical training sessions that are challenging and exciting for trainees
- Carry out training needs analysis to identify skills gaps and develop individual training plans
- Observe and assess candidates' underpinning knowledge in relation to work-based qualifications
- Use innovative programs and technologies to enhance the learning experience
- Monitor and track trainee progress, setting SMART targets and assisting with portfolio preparation
- Maintain accurate trainee records and class registers in compliance with NIPS service level agreements
- Undertake internal verification duties and ensure all materials meet awarding body standards
- Adhere strictly to the prison's security policies and procedures at all times
