Are you an HR professional looking for a new exciting opportunity? Randstad have an opportunity available for an experienced HR Advisor to work alongside Belfast Metropolitan College's internal HR team on a temporary ongoing basis. The post holder will be responsible for assisting the HR Business Partnering team in delivering an efficient and effective Partnership service. They will provide professional HR advice and support to staff, the wider HR team and managers, facilitating the achievement of College objectives whilst managing risk and ensuring statutory compliance.

Requirements
- 5 GCSEs including Maths and English (Grade C and Above) or equivalent
- HR or relevant Degree
- CIPD Level 5 is highly desirable
- 6 - 12 months previous experience in an HR Advisory post
- Data Management skills and experience
- Highly developed communication skills and ability to deal with various levels of delegates from students to senior directors
- Excellent IT skills
- Experience working in a confidential environment
Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting and compliance due to the nature of this work, inclusive of a barred list check (if relevant for the specific role).
Responsibilities
- Assist in collation of data for calculations on annual leave, working hours, flexible working, maternity requests etc to enable HRBP decision making.
- Ensure that the HR Helpdesk queries are answered in a professional and timely manner.
- Support with recruitment and selection.
- Establish and maintain effective professional working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Provide triage and first-level advice to managers and staff on all aspects of human resources policies and procedures.
- Work with HRBP colleagues to manage sickness absence.
- Provide administrative support throughout business partnering activities including note taking and organisation of meetings.
- Provide HR Support and guidance to management and act as note taker at relevant meetings as required.
- Provide information and guidance to employees in relation to terms and conditions of employment and HR policies and procedures.
