Randstad has an opportunity for an experienced department team manager to join Belfast Metropolitan College, on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven professional with experience of creating and managing work-flows to ensure a seamless service to college departments, schools, communities and students alike.

Requirements
- Level 6 qualification with 2 years' experience as a team manager OR Level 4 with 5 years' experience within a team management role, ideally within Further Education, Higher Education, Careers, Student Support or Student Funding.
- Proven people management skills and experience with service impact analysis.
- Proficiency in data management and workflow tracking.
- Full driving licence and access to a car for school outreach and multi-campus travel.
- Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting / compliance checks including an Enhanced Access NI check due to the nature of this work, this may include a Barred List check for both Children & Vulnerable Adults (depending on the role).
Responsibilities
- Lead and support a specialist team of eight across careers, funding and administration.
- Manage the application and audit-compliant administration of student funds.
- Represent the College at schools and recruitment events to drive student engagement.
- Use data and spreadsheets to monitor service performance and inform strategic decisions.
- Oversee the design and delivery of an annual programme of careers events.
- Maintain the Centre's Matrix Accreditation and update all operational policies.
