Due to complex user needs and a significant increase in the volume of Service Users, Randstad are keen to recruit experienced Support Workers for immediately available contracts. The successful candidates will provide assistance to users within the services of Adult Physical Disability in a day centre environment.

Requirements
- NISCC registration essential
- GCSE English and Maths (C or above or equivalent)
- NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care desirable
- Minimum 6-12 months previous Support Work experience essential
- Immunisation records fully up to date
- Previous experience within a day centre or residential healthcare setting highly desirable
- Ability to build rapport
- Strong interaction and engagement skills
- Caring and compassionate approach
- Ability to work in fast paced user centric environment
Responsibilities
- Provide daily assistance to the management team within a Day Centre environment
- Interact and develop caring & professional relationships with all Service Users
- Engagement with users which may be non verbal
- Full involvement in the planning & execution of therapeutic activities
- Mobility assistance
- Assisting with meals, feeding and hydration
- Toileting & personal care if required
- Basic administration and reporting
