Solution Architect (Contract) - 6 Months Contract | Hybrid( (Sheffield or London)

Looking for a hands-on, delivery-focused Solution Architect who loves "holding the pen" on technical designs. You will join a major public-backed institution to support a Lead Architect across a dynamic portfolio of initiatives-from deal flow and valuations to Portfolio Management Systems (PMS), reporting, and AI capabilities.

What You'll Do
/n
/n
- Own the creation of solution designs, integration diagrams, data models, and non-functional requirements.
/n
- Bridge the gap between high-level architectural intent and real-world delivery alongside BAs, Product Owners, and dev teams.
/n
- Map dependencies across systems (CRM PMS reporting) and evaluate vendor/platform options with structured analysis.
/n
- Provide architectural guidance for emerging AI-enabled initiatives.
/n
/n
What We're Looking For
/n
/n
- 5-8 years as a Solution or Technical Architect, ideally supporting a Lead Architect.
/n
- Strong track record in financial services, investment management, or fund management platforms.
/n
- Practical knowledge of integration patterns (APIs, data pipelines) and architecture frameworks (TOGAF, ArchiMate, C4, UML).
/n
- Comfortable in Agile environments and working with regulated or public-sector governance frameworks.
/n
- Detail-oriented, self-sufficient, and a great communicator who balances design rigor with delivery pace.
/n
