The Mission: We are seeking a seasoned Technical Architect to lead the evolution of a critical investment systems landscape.
The Role: You will be responsible for the front-to-back architectural integrity of the platforms, ensuring seamless integration between Portfolio Management Systems (PMS) and accounting frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Systems Evolution: Design and oversee the implementation of front-to-back architecture covering PMS, IBOR (Investment Book of Record), and ABOR (Accounting Book of Record).
- Operational Lifecycle: Architect robust solutions for complex investment events, including Capital Calls, distributions, and multi-tier fund structures.
- Service Design: Lead and participate in Service Design workshops to translate business requirements into scalable, resilient technical blueprints.
- Output Leadership: Drive the creation of high-quality architectural artifacts (HLDs, LLDs, and integration patterns) that align with enterprise standards.
- Reporting Excellence: Optimize Back End reporting architecture to ensure data accuracy across regulatory, financial, and impact-based reporting suites.
Technical Profile & Experience:
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of Investment Management life cycles, with Private Equity or Private Debt experience preferred.
- System Expertise: Hands-on experience with PMS, IBOR, and ABOR transitions and integrations.
- Financial Logic: Mastery of Capital Call mechanics, waterfall distributions, and valuation workflows.
- Architecture: Proven ability to drive 'Service Design' thinking and deliver production-ready outputs.
- Data & Reporting: Expertise in Back End data modelling for complex financial reporting.
Soft Skills & Leadership:
- The Bridge: Ability to translate complex investment jargon into technical requirements for engineering teams and vice versa.
- Strategic Influence: Comfort challenging the status quo in workshops to ensure long-term architectural health over short-term 'fixes'.
