Are you an experienced administrator? Do you have purchasing experience? We currently have a temporary Site Administrator role available with Holcim Hill Quarry. This role is ideal for someone with previous admin and purchasing experience.
Details
- Shifts: Flexible in terms of hours and days; you can choose which suits, but must be a minimum of 4 days and 20 hours between 7am and 5pm.
- Pay: £13.45 per hour
- Duration: 6-12 months
- Location: Holcim, Hillhead Quarry, Clay Lane, Uffculme, Devon, EX15 3EP.
Main tasks
- Creating and amending purchase orders for suppliers as requested by site management
- Ensure that orders are received when goods/services have been supplied
- Ensuring that site records are accurate and up to date
- Liaising with suppliers to resolve any invoice queries
- Liaising with the site management team to ensure that adequate supplies of consumables are maintained
- Greeting and welcoming visitors to the site
- Assisting with the induction of contractors as required
- Answering the telephones and passing on messages in a professional manner
- Completing inspections of equipment and supplies (e.g. spill kits, first aid kits, fire alarms) as directed by the Assistant Quarry Manager
- Recording holiday requests and instances of sickness/absence
- Providing weighbridge cover/support as required
Requirements
- Excellent IT skills and proficient in the use of Google Suite & Microsoft Office Suite
- Flexible and adaptable attitude with ability to prioritise a range of different tasks
- Willing to embrace change
- Exceptional communication skills, at all levels, both written and verbal
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with other members of staff at all levels of the organisation
- Honest and reliable
