About the Role

In this role, you will be heavily involved in the entire product development lifecycle - from early conceptual design and prototyping to integration, verification, and testing. If you have a passion for electric propulsion, eVTOL applications, and creating zero-compromise engineering solutions, we want you on our team.

What You Will Do

  • Integrate Next-Gen Tech: Support payload and propulsion system integration (including all-electric and eVTOL applications). Work closely with the aircraft concepts team to assess performance impacts and drive aircraft-level optimization.
  • Own the Lifecycle: Contribute to design, integration, verification, and testing from concept through to final assembly and manufacture.
  • Ensure Quality & Compliance: Prepare and maintain rigorous engineering documentation, specifications, drawings (to recognized standards), DFMEAs, and risk assessments.
  • Drive Project Success: Support program management by estimating, planning, tracking progress, and managing dependencies to ensure work packages are delivered on time, on budget, and within risk thresholds.
  • Collaborate: Engage directly with customers to translate complex requirements into elegant engineering solutions while identifying opportunities to apply emerging technologies.

What You Bring (Required)

  • Education: A Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience using SolidWorks, including solid modeling, surfacing, large assemblies, detailing, and BoM creation.
  • Engineering Fundamentals: Strong understanding of material selection (metallic and composite) and Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) principles.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to perform first-pass engineering analysis, including basic FEA and CFD, to validate and guide your design decisions.
  • Hands-on Experience: Proven track record of supporting product development from early concept through prototype manufacturing, assembly, and testing.

Bonus Points (Desired)

  • Direct experience working within the aerospace, UAV, defense, space, or advanced air mobility (AAM) sectors.
