The Role:
My client is an international pharmaceutical manufacturer that is seeking a multi-skilled maintenance engineer with experience within a FMCG manufacturing industry or similar work environment to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
They are in the process of creating a site where maintenance engineers want to come to work, where there is no blame culture and everyone can enjoy themselves in a fast-paced work environment.
Working as part of a small engineering team, there are a lot of opportunities for 1-2-1 training and progression and also the chance to contribute your own ideas to improve the process of the site.
The work the company does can be very rewarding and the team are passionate about building life saving equipment. Although pharmaceutical specific experience is not required, you must be willing to train on their unique equipment, complete all health and safety, drugs regulation and compliance checks and paperwork and assist with setting up new equipment in what is an ever changing industry with constant new developments around the globe.
Requirements:
- Several years experience working within a FMCG environment, preferably a regulated clean environment.
- Hold a level 3 NVQ or above in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Must be a team player and willing to fit in with the family style ethos of the maintenance engineer team.
- Competent fault finding and repairing on a range of machinery including electrical equipment.
- Be enthusiastic and have a genuine interest in developing within the industry.
