About the Role
Are you early in your supply chain career and eager to master the art of demand forecasting and inventory analytics? We are looking for a detail-oriented, data-driven Junior Demand Planner to join our Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) Operations team in Chertsey. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of numbers and strategy. You will help predict customer demand, analyze sales trends, and collaborate across teams to ensure we have the right products in the right place at the right time - avoiding both stockouts and excess inventory.
Key Responsibilities
- Forecast Creation: Assist in developing and updating rolling demand forecasts using historical sales data and market trends.
- Trend & Sales Analysis: Analyze sales performance, seasonality, and promotional impacts to continuously improve forecast accuracy.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to gather inputs and align on future demand plans.
- Inventory Monitoring: Keep track of stock health, highlighting risks like potential stockouts or overstock.
- Reporting & Dashboards: Prepare monthly demand cycle reports, KPI dashboards, and presentations for management.
- Systems Maintenance: Ensure accurate data integrity across our planning tools and ERP systems.
What We Are Looking For
- Education: Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Analytical Mindset: Excellent numerical ability and a genuine passion for problem-solving with data.
- Excel Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, formulas like VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
- Communication: Great interpersonal skills with the confidence to work cross-functionally across departments.
