About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled HR Consulting Specialist to join a leading HR function during an exciting period of transformation. This role focuses on managing complex and high-risk employee relations matters, partnering with senior leadership, and driving improvements across ER processes, policies, and overall colleague experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage complex ER cases with a focus on risk mitigation, compliance, and colleague wellbeing
  • Provide strategic advice on employment law, HR policy, and process
  • Use insights and data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for proactive intervention
  • Support junior HR/ER colleagues with coaching and guidance
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Legal, Ethics, and business units to ensure aligned and effective case resolution
  • Lead and support training initiatives and contribute to ongoing ER policy and process enhancements
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to SLAs and operational procedures

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in senior-level or complex ER case management
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and employee dispute resolution
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Data-driven and solutions-oriented with the ability to analyse trends and recommend improvements
  • Confident in handling sensitive situations and advising senior leadership
  • Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Empathetic and resilient, with a people-first approach
