Responsible for supporting, managing, and maintaining single applications or full application services suites. Key tasks include monitoring, batch process management, and user/security administration. May also involve end-user computing tasks like technical troubleshooting, hardware maintenance, and collaborating with Incident or Problem Managers.

The OPV Team supports forecasting platforms for Operational Meteorologists. This role joins the OPV Vortex Support Team to support Vortex (introduced in 2025 to replace legacy systems) during its ongoing development and deployment. The primary focus is configuring and managing data products to ensure seamless usage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure Vortex products using template logic (Handlebars.js/Moustache.js) and layout languages (Typst).
  • Collaborate with Product and Service Delivery Managers to onboard data products.
  • Execute necessary product reconfigurations post-onboarding.
  • Work collaboratively within the team.
  • Manage Changes, Incidents, and Problems via ServiceNow.
  • Contribute to a multi-disciplinary team supporting Vortex and its users.
  • Assist with testing, verification, and feedback on Vortex system functionality.
