My client, a leading global provider of financial software solutions, is seeking a Junior Desktop Support Technician to join their onsite support team. This is a hands‑on role, serving as the first point of contact for employees and providing high‑quality technical support. You will manage daily walk‑ups and remote tickets (averaging 30 per day), ensuring quick resolution and minimal downtime.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide front‑line support via walk‑ups and remote channels.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues across Windows and MacOS.
  • Manage onboarding, workstation setup, and user training.
  • Handle asset management, upgrades, and patching.
  • Support meeting rooms, events, and small IT projects end‑to‑end.

What We’re Looking For

  • 1+ year of tech support/help desk experience.
  • Knowledge of Windows or MacOS operating systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Customer‑focused mindset with ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow, Active Directory, Office 365, Google Suite, Slack, Zoom, and VPN basics.
