Are you based in or around Launceston? This role is ideal for someone with production or manufacturing experience and a safety-first approach, although training will be provided.
Location: DS Smith Packaging, Hurdon Road, Launceston, PL15 9HN
Job Type: Full Time, Contractual
Pay: £16.41 per hour
Shifts: Weekday nights Monday-Thursday 10pm-6am and Friday 4pm-9pm
Start: ASAP (subject to interview and onboarding checks)
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery and equipment in a manufacturing/production environment
- Follow Standard Safe Operating Procedures (SSOW) and UK Health and Safety legislation
- Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on machinery
Essential Requirements:
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation and SSOW
