A well-established IT firm is looking for an experienced IT Technical Support Engineer to join a high-profile client in London, where you will act as the go-to hands-and-eyes technician for all end-user technology requirements. This is a fast-paced, high-touch environment where you will directly support everyone from general business users to senior executives.
Key Responsibilities
- PC Deployment: Build, image, and install Windows desktops, laptops, and peripheral hardware.
- Ticket Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve everyday hardware, software, and IT service requests.
- Mobile & AV Support: Set up corporate iPhones/Androids and help run video meetings (Webex/Teams).
- Asset Inventory: Keep an accurate, up-to-date log of all office IT hardware in the tracking tool.
- IT Documentation: Write and update simple guides and procedures for the support team.
Essential Skills
- Proven track record delivering fast-paced, high-touch floor and deskside support in demanding corporate environments.
- Imaging & Deployment: Solid experience handling end-to-end hardware imaging, staging, configurations, and large-scale rollouts.
- Proficient in managing tech tickets and logging office hardware inventory using enterprise platforms like ServiceNow.
- Skilled at troubleshooting mobile operating systems (iOS/Android) and setting up video conferencing or webinars (Webex/Teams).
Desirable Skills
- Qualifications: CompTIA A+, Azure Fundamentals, or equivalent industry credentials preferred.
