We're looking for a sharp, adaptable IT Project Manager who genuinely enjoys taking complex, messy operational workflows and turning them into sleek, reliable processes. If you've worked inside a Prime Brokerage or Broker-Dealer setup, you know the drill: testing environments break, UAT deadlines creep up fast, and getting tech teams and business leads on the same page can feel like translating two different languages. That's where you come in.
What you'll actually do:
- Keep testing honest: Own the testing lifecycle-from load and usability to UAT-ensuring production-ready environments before anything goes live.
- Map the chaos: Design new operational business flows from scratch using Visio, pinpointing root causes when processes stall, and using data to fix them.
- Bridge the gap: Act as the interpreter and coach between core engineering teams and business stakeholders, running training so new workflows actually stick.
- Keep leadership in the loop: Cut through the noise and deliver clear, fluff-free updates on project health and system recommendations.
What you bring to the table:
- Street Cred: Hands-on operations experience in Securities Finance (Prime Brokerage or Broker-Dealer). You know trading and clearing workflows inside out; Fixed Income experience is a major bonus.
- Project Grip: 1+ years in a project management or supervisory role where you successfully juggled tight deadlines and heavy testing cycles.
- The Essentials: Real proficiency with Visio, Excel, MS Project, and PowerPoint-not just for charts, but for driving real process decisions.
- The Human Element: Strong, relaxed communication skills. You know how to build trust, motivate teams, and hold the line when deadlines get tight.
