- Role & Responsibilities
As a Study Skills Tutor, you will play a pivotal role in empowering students with SPLDs.
You will design and deliver individualised learning plans, guiding students toward effective study strategies.
- Main tasks include
- Develop and implement individualised learning plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Guide students in effective study strategies and techniques.
- Assess student progress regularly and adapt learning plans accordingly.
- Collaborate effectively with Randstad to ensure a cohesive approach to student support.
- Utilise online teaching technologies to enhance the learning experience
- Create engaging and personalised learning materials.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with students with SPLD's
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in utilising online teaching technologies.
- Ability to develop and implement individualised learning plans.
- Experience with creating personalised learning materials.
- Commitment to inclusive education and student success.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- A passion for helping students achieve their academic goals.
Qualifications/Memberships
Must possess any one of the memberships from the following
PATOSS (The Professional Association of Teachers of Students with Specific Learning Difficulties (PATOSS):
- Full - Specialist teacher/assessor qualified.
- Associate membership - Specialist teacher qualified.

- AMBDA - Associate Membership of the British Dyslexia Association
- AMBDA FE/HE - Associate Membership of the British Dyslexia Association Further and Higher Education
- Professional Membership
