Lead and develop individualized learning plans for students with Specific Learning Difficulties (SPLD) in a supportive and flexible environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, one-to-one academic support to students with Specific Learning Difficulties (SPLD), developing and implementing personalized learning plans.
- Guide students in enhancing their organization, time management, research, comprehension, reading, and writing skills, building on their strengths and fostering independence.
- Offer both in-person and online sessions flexibly, ensuring all concerns are addressed promptly and professionally while maintaining confidentiality.
Main tasks include
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans.
- Guide students in improving learning strategies and independence.
- Enhance students' organizational, time management, and research skills.
- Support improvements in comprehension, reading, and writing.
- Collaborate with Randstad and the client to ensure excellent student service.
Requirements
- Membership with BDA, ADSHE, Dyslexia Guild, or PATOSS.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience working with students with SPLDs (desirable).
- Strong organizational skills and reliability.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload.
- Capacity to identify and support students' learning strengths.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to offer both in-person and online sessions.
