Position: Primary or Secondary level Tutors
Location: Nottingham
Hours: flexible part-time (work as much or little as you like, up to 30 hours per week)
Salary: £25 - £30 dependant on experience

Here at Randstad, we are collaborating closely with the local authority in Nottingham who are seeking additional tutoring for their students in Maths, English, and Science. We warmly welcome motivated individuals who work with children in the area who are passionate about entering the field of education. It would be ideal if you already possess an enhanced DBS on the update service or are willing to obtain one.
We are looking for individuals interested in teaching the following subjects:
- Primary or Secondary: Maths, English, Science.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing personalised lesson plans based on each student's learning style
- Assessing student progress, identifying areas for improvement, and recording achievement levels using our internal reporting system
- Delivering engaging sessions that cater to a variety of learning styles
- Achieving measurable outcomes from each session to assess impact
- Collaborating with educational and care stakeholders to ensure student support
- Adhering to KCSIE and safeguarding guidelines.
Desired experience includes:
- Previous experience tutoring one-to-one or small groups of students needing additional educational or pastoral support
- Ability to accept supervision and constructive feedback gracefully
- Experience working in inclusion units, special settings, or alternative provisions
- Familiarity with supporting students with SEN, undiagnosed SEN, disengaged young people, or looked-after children.
Your essential qualities should include:
- Inspirational, effective, and adaptable communication skills
- Proficiency in IT skills, access to a laptop/computer, and audio-visual capabilities
- Reliable broadband and internet connection
- Ability to cultivate meaningful relationships and motivate students.
