We are actively seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Mental Health Specialist Mentor to join our student support team. This is a vital, high-priority role where you will make a tangible difference in the academic and personal journeys of our students. We are looking to expedite the hiring process and welcome qualified professionals to apply immediately.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement personalized support plans tailored to the unique needs of neurodiverse students.
  • Provide expert mental health guidance and counseling to help students navigate academic and personal challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with university staff to foster a holistic, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records while contributing to ongoing service improvement initiatives.
  • Stay at the forefront of the field by keeping updated on the latest best practices in mental health support.

Qualifications

  • Active professional body registration (e.g., BACP, BPS, HCPC, NCPS, NMC, SWE, SCW, UMHAN, or COSCA).
  • Proven experience in supporting the mental health needs of students.
  • Strong background in working with neurodiverse individuals and proficiency in mentoring techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills with a commitment to inclusivity.
  • Bachelor's degree is highly advantageous.
