Are you a qualified teacher with a passion for educational technology and safeguarding?

About the Role

This is a flexible, remote role running until 30th September 2026. You will be part of a team evaluating AI systems, creating teaching scenarios, and setting the standards by which AI educational tools are measured. Working approximately 5‑10 hours a week. You will use your subject expertise to create realistic student‑teacher conversations, develop benchmarking criteria, and score AI responses. You will also develop rubrics to assess the quality and evaluate and compare the AI responses.

Pay rate: £20–£30

Key Requirements

  • Mandatory:
    • Secondary Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
    • Verified experience teaching in English schools (references required).
    • Experience teaching Year 9 in Mathematics, Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), English, or Modern Foreign Languages (French, German, Spanish).
    • Comfortable using web‑based platforms and learning new software.
    • Your own laptop and reliable internet connection.
  • Additional but not required: Designated safeguarding experience (e.g., former or current DSL/Deputy DSL, or Level 3+ safeguarding training with practical child protection responsibilities).
  • SEND experience (SENCO, specialist school, or recognised L3+ SEND training).
  • Desirable but not required:
    • 2+ years of experience delivering approved teacher training (ITT, NPQs, ECF, etc.).
    • 1+ years of 1:1 tutoring experience with Year 9 students.
