Randstad Student & Worker Support are looking for reliable and committed Academic Note Takers and Study Assistants to work with students at University of Glasgow. You will attend courses, seminars and tutorials and take accurate, legible notes for students who, due to disabilities, are unable to create notes for themselves.

Responsibilities:
- Providing note‑taking support to students suffering from disabilities or mental health conditions.
- Producing accurate and legible handwritten notes for lectures, seminars/tutorials and group tasks.
- Reviewing notes after the session to ensure they are in a suitable format for the student.
- Maintaining a professional relationship with the student at all times.
- Acting in the best interests of learners while working within the policies and procedures of the institution.
You will work closely with Randstad regarding the needs of individual students and ensure any concerns are addressed promptly while maintaining confidentiality.
Requirements:
- Neat and legible handwriting
- Good typing skills
- Accurate spelling and grammar
- Punctuality and reliability
- Ability to work quickly under time constraints
- Good organisational skills
- Experience working with individuals with specific learning difficulties in higher or further education (preferred)
Successful applicants will be invited to a telephone assessment followed by a typing test and interview to discuss suitability for the role.
