How to prepare for a job interview at Randstad Student & Worker Support

✨Know Your Subjects Inside Out

Make sure you brush up on Maths, Science, and English concepts relevant to the age group you'll be tutoring. Be prepared to discuss how you would explain complex topics in a simple way, as this will show your ability to personalise learning for each student.

✨Showcase Your Tutoring Experience

Highlight any previous tutoring or teaching experience, especially with students who have special educational needs (SEN). Share specific examples of how you've adapted your teaching methods to meet individual needs, as this will demonstrate your capability to handle diverse learning requirements.

✨Prepare for the Baseline Assessment Discussion

Since conducting a baseline assessment is part of the role, think about how you would approach this task. Be ready to explain what you would look for during the assessment and how it would inform your lesson planning. This shows that you're proactive and focused on student progress.

✨Engage with Parents and Guardians

Since a parent or guardian must be present during sessions, consider how you would communicate effectively with them. Prepare to discuss strategies for keeping them informed about their child's progress and how you would involve them in the learning process.
