About the Employer
We collaborate closely with local authorities and schools across Merseyside to provide additional tutoring in Maths, English, and Science. Ideal applicants have an enhanced DBS or are willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities
- Develop personalized lesson plans based on each student's learning style
- Assess student progress, identify areas for improvement, and record achievement levels using our internal reporting system
- Deliver engaging sessions that cater to a variety of learning styles
- Achieve measurable outcomes from each session to assess impact
- Collaborate with educational and care stakeholders to ensure student support
- Adhere to KCSIE and safeguarding guidelines
Desired Experience
- Previous experience tutoring one‑to‑one or small groups of students needing additional educational or pastoral support
- Ability to accept supervision and constructive feedback gracefully
- Experience working in inclusion units, special settings, or alternative provisions
- Familiarity with supporting students with SEN, undiagnosed SEN, disengaged young people, or looked‑after children
Essential Qualities
- Inspirational, effective, and adaptable communication skills
- Proficiency in IT skills, access to a laptop/computer, and audio‑visual capabilities
- Reliable broadband and internet connection
- Ability to cultivate meaningful relationships and motivate students
