Randstad Student & Worker Support are looking for reliable and committed Disability and Mental Health Advisors and to work with Students at University Westminster (Remote)

Join Westminster University as a Disability and Mental Health Advisor and play a crucial role in supporting students. This fully remote, temporary position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact on student well‑being and academic success.

Responsibilities

  • Provide essential administrative support to students.
  • Address student inquiries with efficiency and empathy.
  • Develop and manage tailored support plans for students with SpLD, mental health needs, and autism.
  • Collaborate closely with students to ensure their diverse needs are met effectively.
  • Maintain meticulous records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
  • Liaise with various university departments and external support agencies.
  • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of student support services.
  • Engage in relevant training and professional development activities.

Qualifications

  • Hold a Bachelor\’s degree in a relevant field such as social work, counselling, or education.
  • Possess at least 2 years of experience supporting individuals with disabilities and/or mental health challenges.
  • Exhibit excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Experience with SpLD, mental health, and autism is highly advantageous.
  • Must be immediately available to commence work.
