Location: Bangor University (Hybrid: In-person Online)

Pay Rate: £28.00 per hour + £3.38 per hour accrued holiday pay

Are you passionate about empowering students and helping them navigate their academic journey? Randstad Student Support is looking for dedicated Specialist Study Skills Support Workers to provide bespoke academic guidance to autistic students at Bangor University. This is a hybrid role designed to offer students the flexibility they need. You will work closely with individuals to develop their independence, helping them transition from structured support to becoming confident, autonomous learners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing one-to-one support tailored to each student's unique needs, including:
  • Developing Independence: Empowering students to manage their own learning.
  • Strategic Planning: Creating strategies for organization, time management, and actionable study plans.
  • Academic Excellence: Building research skills, distinguishing credible sources, and mastering referencing.
  • Comprehension: Strengthening reading and writing skills to enhance academic output.
  • Individual Learning Plans (ILPs): Designing and implementing personalized learning strategies.
