Are you a dedicated Study Skills Mentor passionate about helping students achieve their academic potential? Randstad Student Support is looking for experienced one-on-one Study Skills Support Workers to assist students with specific learning difficulties (SpLDs) in Aberdeen. Join us in making a difference in their educational journeys! Starting as soon as possible, this hybrid role requires flexibility for both in-person and online sessions, tailored to student preferences.
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized learning support as a Specialist Study Skills Support Worker, including developing individual learning plans to foster independence, building on strengths and effective learning strategies, improving organization and time management skills, creating action plans to stay on track, and improving research and comprehension skills.
- Address student needs on a case-by-case basis while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
Qualifications / Desirable
- Teaching or tutoring experience, or in-depth knowledge of learning difficulties that students may have.
- Experience with Autistic students would be a significant advantage.
- Share relevant information with Randstad to ensure the best service for your students.
