Are you a qualified Modern Foreign Languages teacher with a passion for educational technology, pedagogy, and safeguarding? We are looking for experienced secondary school MFL educators to join a vital national project. You will play a key role in building the benchmarks that ensure AI tutoring tools are safe, linguistically accurate, and pedagogically sound for MFL students across the UK.
About the Role
This is a highly flexible, fully remote role running until 30th September 2026, requiring approximately 5-10 hours per week. Using your subject expertise in language acquisition, you will evaluate AI systems, create realistic language-learning scenarios, and set the standards by which AI educational tools are measured.
Your day-to-day will involve:
- Creating realistic student-teacher conversations (including target language interactions and grammar explanations).
- Developing benchmarking criteria for vocabulary, nuance, and age-appropriate pedagogy.
- Scoring AI responses for linguistic accuracy, cultural contextual relevance, and instructional quality.
- Building rubrics to evaluate and compare AI-generated content for Key Stage 3 learners.
Pay Rate: £20 - £30 per hour
Location: Fully Remote (UK)
Hours: 5-10 hours per week
