You will work closely with students - both face-to-face and online - following individual EHCP plans to build their core knowledge while significantly boosting their confidence and self-esteem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Tailored Tuition: Delivering engaging 1:1 or small group sessions (up to 1:6) that cater to a range of learning styles.
  • Strategic Planning: Creating lesson plans aligned with EHCP objectives and students' specific interests.
  • Progress Tracking: Assessing student development and recording attainment levels via our internal reporting system.
  • Collaboration: Working alongside schools, foster carers, and social workers to ensure a holistic support network.
  • Safeguarding: Operating strictly in accordance with KCSIE and safeguarding guidelines.

Who are we looking for?

We want to hear from inspiring QTS/NQTs, Teaching Assistants (Level 1-3), HLTAs, or Graduates eager to start a career in education.

Essential Qualities:

  • At least 6 months of experience working with SEN, disengaged youth, or within alternative provisions.
  • The ability to manage challenging behaviours with patience and empathy.
  • Strong IT competency (laptop/computer access and stable broadband for online sessions).
  • A valid DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to acquire one).
  • An inspirational communication style that motivates and encourages students.
