Do you have experience in supporting students with special needs in their education/academic curriculum? Then Randstad may just have the perfect opportunity for you.

Randstad Student Support are recruiting for Specialist-one-to-one Study Skills Support Workers to work with autistic students studying at the University of South Wales. All successful candidates must be able to travel to the university and flexibly offer both in-person and online sessions to meet student preferences.

As a Specialist-one-to-one Study Skills Support Worker, you will provide learning support and academic guidance. This includes creating an individual learning plan that has been tailored to the student's needs and encourages them to become an independent learner.

As a Specialist-one-to-one Study Skills Support Worker, you are required to support students to:

  • Develop independence
  • Build on strengths and learning strategies
  • Create strategies around organisation and time management
  • Create action plans to stay on track with studies
  • Build on research skills - widening knowledge
