You will play a key role in building the benchmarks that ensure AI tutoring tools are safe, scientifically accurate, and pedagogically sound for students across the UK.
About the Role
This is a highly flexible, fully remote role running until 30th September 2026, requiring approximately 5-10 hours per week. Using your subject expertise, you will evaluate AI systems, create chemistry teaching scenarios, and set the standards by which AI science tools are measured. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Designing realistic student-teacher dialogues (covering atomic structure, chemical reactions, and the periodic table)
- Developing benchmarking criteria to test the accuracy of chemical formulas and explanations
- Scoring AI responses
- Building rubrics to evaluate how effectively the AI breaks down complex scientific concepts
Pay Rate: £20 - £30 per hour
