Randstad Student & Worker Support is recruiting reliable and committed Specialist Note Takers to provide essential academic support to students with disabilities and mental health conditions.

About the Role

  • Produce Quality Notes: Write neat, accurate, and legible handwritten notes during lectures, seminars, and group tasks.
  • Format & Review: Review notes immediately after sessions to ensure they are accessible, structured, and easy for the student to use.
  • Maintain Professional Boundaries: Build a supportive, professional relationship with students while adhering to university policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate & Safeguard: Work closely with Randstad to manage individual student needs, report concerns promptly, and maintain strict confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Key Skills: Neat handwriting, good typing speed, accurate spelling, and strong grammar.
  • Core Qualities: High punctuality, reliability, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work quickly under time constraints.
  • Desirable Experience: Prior experience working with individuals with specific learning difficulties in higher or further education.
