About the Role:

We are seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to support students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) in secondary schools across Lingfield. This role involves working closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement tailored learning strategies and support students\’ social, emotional, and educational development.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Providing 1:1 or small group support to students with EHCPs
  2. Collaborating with staff to deliver personalized learning activities
  3. Promoting independence, confidence, and engagement among students
  4. Supporting students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs as appropriate

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN, especially in secondary schools
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A flexible, proactive approach to supporting diverse needs

Relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2/3 or equivalent are desirable but not mandatory. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
