Contract Type: Full Time Permanent position

Qualification: QTS, SEN experience

This is a full time permanent position and you will be required to support five days a week Monday - Friday in line with school hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver science lessons and practical experiments across Key Stages.
  • Assess, track, and report on student progress towards GCSE targets.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and undertake pastoral duties.
  • Ensure full compliance with all safeguarding and health & safety policies.
  • Liaise effectively with parents, colleagues, and relevant stakeholders.

  • Managing behaviour of pupils whilst undertaking work to ensure a constructive environment
  • Strong classroom management
  • Motivated and enthusiastic demeanour
  • Be an inspiring and engaging communicator
  • Use imagination and innovation to enhance learning experience

Personal attributes:

  • You will have a genuine passion for teaching
  • Experience up to key stage 3/4
  • QTS/PGCE equivalent
  • Be flexible and committed

Please note that this role is unable to offer any Sponsorship at this time. All candidates will be subject to Randstad Education's child protection and UK eligibility vetting including a DBS check and providing satisfactory references. A DBS on the update service would be a distinct advantage due to the urgent nature of some of these roles.
