Shotton Works is seeking a team player who can hit the ground running supporting their planning team. The successful applicant will be responsible for planning and scheduling orders to the highest standard. Only applicants with full Right to work in the UK can be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Planning and scheduling orders and materials to ensure complete and timely delivery to customers
- Preparing and submitting status and performance reports
- Collaborating with the Supply Chain Manager to set up service level agreements
- Developing KPIs to measure supplier performance
- Planning raw materials to meet production demand and cover manufacturing requirements
- Working on SAP systems and MS Excel daily
- Adhering to the highest standards of detail at all times
- Resolving any issues effectively to minimise service gaps or downtime
- Serving as a stakeholder liaison between suppliers, teams and management
Essential requirements:
- Previous experience within planning or logistics role (2+ years)
- Strong IT literacy, especially with MS Excel
- Driving Licence and/or access to own vehicle or cycle (due to nature of the works)
- Ability to manage, organise, update data via database applications
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding attention to detail, especially with numerical data
- Ability to work on own initiative but also within a team as a collaborator
- Eagerness to learn new processes and adapt quickly as part of a small, flexible team
- Adhering to the highest levels of Health and Safety at all times
