Position: SEN Teacher QTS

Randstad Education is seeking an experienced and dedicated SEN teacher. The role involves cultivating a nurturing, secure, and stimulating environment for children with special educational needs.
Note: This role does not offer sponsorship at this time.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet diverse learning needs of SEN students.
- Develop, implement, and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs), setting clear targets and monitoring progress.
- Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to support students’ learning and development.
- Assess pupils’ abilities and progress regularly, adapting teaching methods as necessary.
- Collaborate with parents, carers, and external agencies (e.g., therapists, psychologists) to provide holistic support.
- Manage classroom behaviour and promote positive social and emotional development.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on pupil progress for parents and senior management.
- Participate in professional development to stay updated on SEN best practices and legislation.

- Experience with SEN or knowledge of learning difficulties.
- Experience up to Key Stage 3/4.
- QTS/PGCE equivalent.
All candidates will be subject to Randstad Education's child protection and UK eligibility vetting, including a DBS check and providing satisfactory references. A DBS on the update service would be a distinct advantage due to the urgent nature of some of these roles.
