We are seeking a dedicated Specialist TA to join our nationally recognised trust. In this rewarding role, you will work on a 1:1 basis with learners aged 5-16 with complex needs, autism (ASD), and associated behavioural or communication difficulties. Based in a modern, state-of-the-art day school with a maximum class size of 8, you will support students beyond academics - helping them develop socially, emotionally, and physically while building their self-esteem and independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support for SEN learners with complex and multiple learning difficulties.
  • Assist in managing behavioural, social, and emotional development in a classroom of no more than 8 students.
  • Collaborate with teachers and therapy teams to create a safe, enabling, and engaging learning environment.

Job Requirements

  • Qualifications - GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C/4 or equivalent).
  • Experience - proven experience as a Teaching Assistant, support worker, or childcare professional (references required).
