Responsibilities of a Social Worker within the Duty & Advice Team:

  • You will work as part of a co-located multi-agency team which includes health, police, community safety, adult social worker, IDVA and the prevention hub.
  • Respond to contacts made to the MASH team in a timely way to identify and secure appropriate service and support to children and families.
  • Communicate with families, partner agencies and members of the public to gain details and enable strong evidence decision making in line with the local authorities practice standards and statutory duties.

Requirements:

  • Social Work Qualification
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • 1-5 years experience of working within a similar children's setting
  • A creative and innovative approach
