The predicted salary is between 18 - 18 £ per hour.

Location: Edinburgh (West, Mid, and East Lothian also considered for drivers)

Hours: Minimum 24 hours per week (Flexible across 3 days)

Pay Rates: £17.50 - £18.00/hr Umbrella | £14.92 - £15.34/hr PAYE (Inc. holiday pay)

Are you an experienced, adaptable care professional looking for excellent pay and flexible hours? We are seeking dedicated Community Support Workers to join our team across Edinburgh and the Lothians, delivering high-quality, unsupervised care to vulnerable individuals.

Flexible Scheduling

To meet our service demands, you must be able to commit to at least 24 hours a week across varying days, including last-minute requests. Shift examples include:

  • Earlies: 07:00 - 15:00
  • Lates: 14:00 - 22:00
  • Long Days: 07:00/08:00 - 22:00
  • Nights: 20:00 - 08:00
  • Sleepovers: 22:00 - 07:00 (Note: Shifts may vary by 1-2 hours based on client needs).

Exceptional Pay & Benefits

Competitive Rates: Up to £18.00/hr Umbrella with enhanced weekend pay.

Travel Support: Mileage paid at £0.45 per mile between community visits.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 1 year of UK-based care experience is essential. This includes older adults (care home or home care) and supporting adults with learning disabilities or Autism.

Skills: Confident managing challenging behaviour using de-escalation tactics, providing personal care, administering medication, writing reports, and updating MAR charts.

Transport: Having your own vehicle is highly preferred, though walkers are considered if public transport routes allow.
